We’ve all struggled with acne at some point in our lives and trust us, celebrities are no different.

Many stars have shared their skin problems in the past, and whether they embraced their flaws or struggled on how to improve their skin, they have proven that even the most beautiful and privileged among us deal with skin breakouts or what we call ‘acne.’

Recently Parwaaz Hai Junoon Star, Hania Aamir opens up about her constant struggle with mild acne in an Instagram post and people are supporting her.

The actress calls her struggle with mild acne “quite a painful one” adding that she had “nights and days of crying, feeling insecure, anxiety”.

She also mentioned how people around her become worried and started to give tips (totkas) for her acne as it was quick to appear on cameras.

After going through a difficult phase for many days, she went to a different dermatologist and at last her skin started to get better but it made her realise that “she don’t need to be an airbrushed flawless image to feel beautiful.”

“Why is my skin defining me? Who has made these beauty standards that we always feel the need to match? The society? Clear skin is beauty?,” She asks while giving her two cents about the standard of beauty in our society.

She concluded the post with reminding her fans that just because she’s a star, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t go through normal issues in her life. “Perfection is not what we should be seeking, being comfortable in our own skin is the key.
