One of the few Pakistani celebrities to have made it to the big screen & that too quiet earlier in her career. We spoke to the actress to know more about her and here’s what you should know:

Seldom! I’d rather cook a nice meal on an off day.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
My superpower would be becoming invisible.
Best piece of advice you ever received
There are many good advices I’ve received over a period of time but there won’t be any specific advice I’d like to share.
When did you first realize you wanted to be an actor?
Honestly, ever since I was a kid, I loved TV and often imagined myself on it! But I never thought it would happen. Later, when I was doing TVCs and approached by TV channels to act, it was like a dream come true!
The artists you look up to
Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia Roberts, an evergreen woman Nicole Kidman and recently Margot Robbie who played the character of Harley Quinn.
One thing you like most about your job
What I love about my job is that it doesn’t feel like a job! It’s a passion to me. Each day is a new day and I learn new things and there’s always room for improvement.
What was your favorite dish as a kid?
My favorite dish was and still is Biryani!
If not, an actor what would you have been?
If not an actor then I would’ve been a painter and tried to develop this skill of mine.
What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of?
- Competition: with yourself
- Love: a necessary part of everyone’s life
- Living in Pakistan: a bit of a struggle but it is my country and I love it.
- Cake: birthdays!
- Money: the more you make the less it is 🙂
- Item song: Mai item number nahi karungi jo karna hai karva le
- Family: The only thing that REALLY matters in life.
Do you have any advice for someone wanting to become an actor? Anything you would like to add?
Being in this industry is not easy and as glamorous as it seems, it requires a lot of patience and one has to believe in yourself because one will face a lot of rejection! We all have! Now rejection is something which pulls you down. The key is to stay determined, improve your skill, believe in yourself and FOCUS.
