Spreading smile on our faces, these telefilms will give us a chance to see some big stars sharing the screens for the first time such as Hania Amir and Yasir Hussain in Band Toh Bajayga.
Let’s explore what we have in stores this Eid on HUM TV:
Band toh bajayga:
Formerly titled as “Go to Hell,” Band toh bajayga stars the new comedy sensation Yasir Hussain along with the dimple girl Hania Amir. Produced by Moomal Productions and directed by Misbah Khalid, this rom-com will bring Hania and Yasir together on the screen for the first time.
Story of the film revolves around a couple who is in love and their parents belonging to the different societal class are meeting for the first time at a farm house. The twist comes in as their parents’ expectations shatters and the love birds find themselves in a mystery of whether to marry or not.
Rafay Rashdi, Managing Partner of Moomal Entertainment and the Producer of this Telefilm hopes that people will get the feeling of a film through Band toh Bajay Ga.
“It was a fantastic experience working with Yasir. We’ve worked before in last year’s telefilm Dildarian so including him in this Telefilm was the right thing to do. His accurate and precise on point punch line deliveries, makes this package a fun time watch,” Rafay added.
Sharing about Hania, Rafay said “It was a treat to work with her.”
“It was a fantastic experience and I believe she has done absolute justice to the character. Both of them being film stars, it was imperative from my end to give this Telefilm a bit of a film treatment (at least visually) – I hope the audience enjoys this fun fiesta this Eid only on HUM TV”
Adding more flavor to it, this much awaited telefilm includes an amazing cast which include Zainab Qayyum, Nouman Masoud, Nazli Nasr and Sajeel.
Breakup ke baad:
Sharing screens for the first time after a massively hit drama serial ‘Alif Allah Aur Insaan,’ Shahzad Sheikh and Ushna Shah will spread love this Eid in another special telefilm, Breakup Ke Baad.
Written by Mohsin Ali, directed by Ahmed Bhatti and made under the banner of Moomal Productions, Break-up Kay Baad will have Ayesha Gul, Saleem Mairaj in integral roles along with the leads.
This telefilm is a comic caper and is all about a couple who had a break-up and after that another couple tries to match them up; and eventually the parents of the couple get involved to sort things.
On working with Shahzad and Ushna, Rafay Rashidi added, “Shahzad Sheikh is a perfectionist when it comes to switching roles and It was my first time working with Shahzad and Ushna.”
“The on-screen chemistry between the two looks fantastic and they’ve done absolutely wonderful with their performances by being in Love and falling out.”
Elaborating about their roles, Rafay added “I saw them both in Alif Allah aur Insaan last and their characters mesmerized the audiences all over – I hope the same chemistry is captured and exhibits this Eid”
“I would also like to include Saife Hasan, and Ayesha Gul who’ve done a spectacular job portraying parents one of girl and one of boy – have always been a fan of Saife Hasan and worked for the first time with him.”
What will happen next when the two people who don’t want to get along have to stay together. Be ready to watch it out this Eid.
Dil diyan gallan and Glass toda barra aana:
Produced by MD Productions, Dil Diyan Gallan will feature our most favorite couple Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed as the main lead. As the name suggests, it will be a light-hearted romantic telefilm and viewers will thoroughly for two reasons. One it’s Saba Qamar and secondly Zahid Ahmed plays the role of a writer. Exciting right?
Another exciting entry in the list is Zhalay Sarhadi’s Glass Toda Baraa Aana by Cutz Production which looks really promising from the teasers.
